In short
The tools available today process your files inside your web browser. Your files are not uploaded to our servers or sent to anyone else. Like any website, our hosting provider receives basic technical information when your browser loads our pages.
The files you process
These tools are available today:
All of them run entirely in your browser. When you choose or drop a file, it is read and processed by code running on your own device, and the result is created there too. Your files, their names and their contents are not uploaded to our servers or to any third party, and we never see them.
When you download a result, your browser saves it to your device. Your original files are never changed; every tool creates new files instead.
How long your files are kept
Files you add, and the results created from them, are held only in your browser tab’s memory while you use a tool. They are discarded when you start over, reload the page or close the tab. When you drop a file on the homepage and choose a tool, the file is passed to that tool in memory; it is not saved anywhere.
PocketSizePDF does not save your files in browser storage (such as local storage or IndexedDB) and does not set cookies. Files you download stay on your device until you delete them.
What our hosting provider receives
PocketSizePDF is hosted by Vercel Inc. When you visit, your browser requests our pages and the program files the tools need. Some tools also download supporting files, such as fonts and character maps that certain PDFs require, from our own site. These requests never contain your files.
As with any website, each request includes standard technical information: your IP address, your browser and device type (the “user agent”), the page or file requested, the time, and, if your browser sends it, the page you came from. Vercel processes this information to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Vercel keeps request logs for a limited period, set by its own policies and the hosting plan in use, and these periods may change. We can see some of these logs to troubleshoot and protect the site. How Vercel handles this information is described in Vercel’s privacy policy. We do not combine this information with anything else or use it to identify you.
Analytics, advertising and cookies
PocketSizePDF currently uses no analytics, advertising or tracking services, and loads no scripts, fonts or other files from third-party websites. If we add any of these, we will update this policy first.
If you email us
If you contact us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you.
Tools that are not available yet
Some tools listed as “Coming soon” may need to send files to a server when they launch. None of them are available today. Before any tool that uploads files is released, we will update this policy and label that tool clearly before you choose a file.
Your questions and requests
Because we do not receive your files and do not have user accounts, we hold no files or account data about you. For questions about the technical information described above, or anything else in this policy, email syadavvv1975@gmail.com.
Changes to this policy
If how PocketSizePDF handles information changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. See also our Terms of Service.
